Jill: Hmm..... What to say about Menton....perhaps because we were in desperate need of some downtime, or perhaps because we really have discovered a hidden gem, either way it's hard to imagine that we will happen upon a place better than this. Either on is trip or ever again.
Our first impression of the apartment was maybe surprise, it was more rustic than we'd anticipated, in a way, but also so old world with its frescoed ceilings, creaky doors and crumbling shutters. But when the sun came up and we had a better look around and out the window, we knew we were somewhere special, with each component meticulously selected to enhance the treasure. Pictures of the apartment will come later.
The town itself is again filled with cafes, shops, ice cream stands, and the beach is amazing beyond words, the views better than that! We were able to unpack, do laundry and have dinner at home for the first time. It is wonderful and I feel like I never want to leave. Todd and I can't wait to explore the winding streets and work our way to the cemetery on the top of the hill.

Let's see, our place is two buildings over from the three windows on the white building, it's light beige with the 3 green windows, can u see it?
